Highlights on the achievements of Hockey's Magician- Major Dhyan Chand was born on August 29 ,1905 at Prayagnagar (UttarPradesh). In the beginning day Major Dhyan Chand faced basic needs of life and he didn't have the craze of hockey. In the presence of Major Dhyan Chand Indian hockey team owned many international championships and In the captaincy of Major Dhyan Chand Indian hockey earned three gold medal in Olympics games. 

During the 1936 Berlin games, Indian hockey team and German hockey had a neck to neck competition, Where the chancellor of German Adolf Hitler was very focused about the game because that time in Germany many posters are being chipped everywhere about the excellency of Major Dhyan Chand. The Indian hockey team defeated Germany with the score of 8-1. Adolf Hitler was very impressed by the game of Major Dhyan Chand and Hitler offered him the citizenship of German and a luxurious life but Major Dhyan refused him by the single word that Nation always kept priority in my life.
