Today India is Remembering their great son on his 82nd birth anniversary, The rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat proved his bravery in 1962 India-China war.Where the army of locust sudden arrived to cover the Arunachal Pradesh with a huge army. Since 15 november 1962 when Chinese army close to Nuranang valley then on 17 November 1962 the Chinese army attacked on Indian troopers. In the protection of Nuranang valley the 4th unit of Garhwal rifles was reporting on that time. Due to sudden firing by the army of locust most of the troopers of Garhwal rifles gave a great sacrifice to their nation and build a strong foundation for upcoming warriors who only live for their country and die for their country. In the relatiatory firing almost all trooper of Garhwal rifles were being sacrificed their lives and behind the high command ordered to 4th unit of Garhwal rifles should be left the post.But the three warrior of Bharat Mata denied to leave the post and said roarely "we would like to die on the protection of our country but we will never give up on this field". Lans Nayak Trilok Singh Negi, Rifleman Gopal Singh Gusain and the Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat were the three pillars of Nuranang valley. But Lans Nayak Trilok Singh Negi and Rifleman Gopal Singh Gusain gave a great sacrifice in the short term of the war. Now the war ahead was between Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat and the Chinese army , where thousands of troopers were being escaped on Chinese army. Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat continue the war further for 3 days, he had made checkpost and kept firing from different locations. During in three days war Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat killed 300 approx Chinese troopers. In the three days war the local area's of Nuranang valleys two sisters helped to feed him. But Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat the last man standing on Nuranang valley with 10k altitude of hill from the sea level. Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat took his last breath till the serve his nation and then the Chinese army gathered attacked on him and severed his head and took him on their camp.
