India's first method actor Shivaji Ganeshan who was born to an evergreen star.
Shivaji Ganeshan was too much passion for acting. At the earlier age of 7, he left his house and joined a theatre group. Where he set the strong foundation of his acting skill and after day by day Shivaji Ganeshan had started moving towards success. In the theatre group, he had played many child roles and women's roles. Shivaji Ganeshan used to know for his different roles, if the filmmaker cast him as a woman then no one could have identified him that he is a man.
Since 1945 in December Ganeshan portrayed Shivaji in a drama and then he was inspired by the 17th century India's Maharaja Shivaji life and the Ganeshan joint the name of Shivaji before his real name and then he was known as Shivaji Ganeshan.
Google Doodle Gave Tribute To India's First Method Actor On His Birth Anniversary- Google made a doodle of India's first method actor Shivaji Ganeshan on his 93rd birth anniversary. The doodle is beautifully displayed by the guest artist Nupur Rajesh Chokshi.
Since 1952 in the 'Parasakti' movie Shivaji Ganeshan had his on-screen debut. Then he gave many blockbuster hit movies as a Shivaji (On-screen name).
In 1960 Ganeshan had got the best ever actor award in an International Films event for his historical movie 'Veerapandiya Kattabomman'. And Ganeshan become the first Indian actor who received this international honour.
Since 1997 the Indian government has honoured him with the Dada Shaheb Falke award.
