T-20 World Cup Update- 'Standby' Shardul Thakur Replaced Hardik Pandya

The 'Standby' Shardul Thakur Replaced Hardik Pandeya from the Playing XI-  All-rounder Shardul Thakur impressed the selector with his IPL performance where he took the 15 wickets in 13 matches in Dhoni's side with Chennai Super Kings. Shardul Thakur was also selected in the Indian squad for the T-20 world cup as standby with Deepak Chahar and Shreyas Iyer.

Critics claimed him a strong contender for the T-20 world cup. For the last few times, Shardul collected many hearts by his performance in Test cricket. The test series were played between India and England and which has been stopped for a few time due to IPL franchise and T-20 world cup. In this test series, Shardul Thakur has played two test series where he scored 117 runs in three innings with an average of 39.00 and 102.63 strike rate.

In that series, he also improved with his balling by taking 7 wickets in four innings with an average of 22.00. 
Shardul Thakur is the first choice of everyone to replace the Hardik Pandeya.
