India gain its first medal by Weightlifter Mirabai Chanu- A good news cover from Tokyo Olympic 2021, that India has opened its account of honour. The 26 year old Mirabai Chanu did a great job ,
who got a silver medal in 49kg weightlifting category. The Chinese athelete Zhihui Hou got gold I. 49 weightlifting category, she lifted overall 210kg( in snatch round she lift 94 kg and in clean and jurk she lifted 116 kg). Chanu lifted 115 kg in clean and jurk round and 87 lifted in snatch round, overall she lifted 202 kg , which is record in the history of Indian weightlifting sports. She felt proud to every Indian by this achievement. Gaining medal on the very first day is good news for India.
